Kimi ni Todoke DVD 01: Don't Let Appearances Fool You!

My hard day's work paid off. And I'm proud of it...
After many errors, muxings, timings, and more problems, this was a success!!! :D
Here's the updated "best" version. Better video, audio, and subs. And did I mention subs? Everything is now soft subbed. The karaoke, titles, notes, sign translations are now there!
MU links are now updated with v2.

Info:
Video: x264, 720x480, (16:9)
Audio: AAC, 2.0.
Subs: Eclipse subs are kept, but added Japanese karaoke and signs.

Wow, that was fast. Thank you so much. And your use of Eclipse subs is a plus. I'm still waiting for them to finish subbing season 2.

I truly love this series since I'm a big fan of Mamiko Noto's work.

I Will be looking forward to the rest of your releases.

I just found a link with Kimi ni Season 1 episodes in larger size files at this link:

http://hotfile.com/list/1478539/9b2c44a

You can check them out in case you're interested.

Cloud said...

Oh snap Damian! Jackpot! I am checking these out later tonight for sure.

Cloud said...

Wow, the raws are 2x better quality! Karaoke is softsubbed also, and so are the signs! You have really helped so much, thanks!

drcb said...

I'm glad. I noticed myself that the files I had originally given you the download links for were not as large, therefore I made a new search only to find such larger files. I guess we could say we had luck on our side.

Cloud said...

Yup, now I am on the hunt for those Hayate subs!

drcb said...

Check this out! This link contains download links to all of the Hayate episodes subbed in Chinese by CASO fansubs. Here's the link:

http://www.filestube.com/source.html?token=fba6d266e5a02c8e03e9

The files are MKV files so you might need to extract the subs from within each file.

It's possible that these subs might also contain karaoke within them.

By the way, I'm not Chinese in case you're wondering. I just happened to find these files while trying to give you a hand with your subbing projects.

Hope this works.

Hi Cloud, it seems I'm going to be busy this week so I'm not going to be able to upload the Kimi ni season 2 episodes until probably next week, but if you prefer to download the episodes right away, I leave here with you the torrent links:

http://www.jishaku.net/view.php?id=250096

http://www.jishaku.net/view.php?id=260034

If you don't complete the downloads by next week, I will gladly upload them for you.

drcb said...

I'm not sure if I gave you the right link to the Hayate episodes, so I'll post it again here:

Hope it all works well this time around.

Cloud said...

Hayate links have been downloaded, thanks! Thanks for Kimi season 2!

drcb said...

Glad to hear that. I'll let you know when links for volume 3 of Kimi ni season 2 become available.

Hi Cloud, I just watched the first episode and let me tell you, you did a superb job. Thank you so much for working on this great series.

drcb said...

For some reason no subs were present in the scene at around 00:14:00. I don't think my video player is the cause of it since I have all of my codecs up to date.

Cloud said...

Glad to hear that, I just learned I made a small mistake on the opening and ending. Learning how to make xdelta v2 patches so I won't have to upload the entire 2 episodes again...

Cloud said...

Subs are there, what codec pack do you use?

drcb said...

I got CCCP and CoreAVC codec. The same scene does have subs in the TV rip though. Since no one seems to be able to help you with checking every episodes I could give you a hand with it even if I become busy at times if you'd like.

Cloud said...

That would be great! I have used CCCP for a while but then began to have troubles.

Best codec combination for windows: Shark Codecs + CoreAvc
http://shark007.net/

I will make a post if you'd like describing it.

Cloud said...

Also, are you using, XP, Vista, or 7?

drcb said...

Since I have the raw episodes you could just send me the sub files so I can check them out.

drcb said...

Oh, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Cloud said...

That would be great! Thanks for helping me out.

Cloud said...

Ok Windows 7, perfect. You are gonna love that codec pack. It's got 64 bit codecs and integrates with any media player and media center. And it gives you thumbnails for all video files.

drcb said...

No problem. Just so you know, my local time is the PST.

Cloud said...

Perfect, same as mine.

drcb said...

You are not my next door neighbor are you?
...Just kidding.

Cloud said...

lol

drcb said...

What other series are you thinking of doing in the future that haven't been subbed yet?

Cloud said...

I don't know. I am open to suggestions. If there's any that are not subbed, I will do them (as long as I like the series of course).

drcb said...

Sounds good. Are you by any chance a member of any anime forum?

Cloud said...

Not really, I am however a member of a manga group called RedhawkScans.

drcb said...

Oh yeah? I've read manga from that group.

I wanted to know If you were a member of any forums so I could send you my email so we could keep in touch through messenger so I could be aware of when you needed me to check on whatever episode you've finished working on.

Cloud said...

E-mail is on my blogger profile. You may add me to messenger if you'd like.

drcb said...

Alright, I'll do that. I Look forward to giving you a hand as much as I can.

Cloud said...

Yeah, thanks for all your help man!

drcb said...

I'll probably add you to my messenger tomorrow.

Cloud said...

Sounds good

Cloud, the subs that are missing at around 00:14:00 are just one line which goes like this:

Because a certain someone didn't show up,
there was an odd number of people, and I had to go alone. The line appears just as subs for the signs appear, which go like this:

*no flashlights* *SUCKS TO BE YOU* *go out there alone!!*

Cloud said...

I can see them... That's weird...

drcb said...

Oh well, I'll check my settings one more time.

Cloud said...

Yeah, the only thing that's wrong are the colors of the subtitles but nothing should be missing...

drcb said...

The line missing comes out after the following line: But...what about the event? which ends at 0:14:03:83. I actually extracted the sub files but the line is not present.

Cloud said...

Hmmmm, I think I did not add that line...

drcb said...

I have a few series in DVD and even the people in charge of subbing them forget to add lines at times.

Cloud said...

Thinking about making xdelta patches then. First, I got to learn how to make them... XD

drcb said...

Yeah, that's why I thought it would be a good idea to give you a hand since no volunteers have appeared.

Cloud said...

Yep that's true. Even professionals make mistakes with their lines.

drcb said...

And we don't get any refunds for that, do we.

Cloud said...

Nope. XD

drcb said...

In my opinion, amateurs do a better job. By the way, I've added you to my messenger.

Cloud said...

Got it. I need to install messenger for this account lol.

drcb said...

No biggie, I've just installed it myself.

Cloud said...

Okay installed it, but I do not see you in there as a contact.

drcb said...

All that's left now is to give you a hand with checking them episodes.

drcb said...

I'm using Windows Live Messenger.

Cloud said...

Yeah, so am I (Mac version). Send me an email with your email on it so I can add you as a contact then... It might be a bug. Silly macs. XD

drcb said...

Got it, message sent.
